NUTRITION NORTH CANADA

NUTRITION NORTH
CANADA

Nutrition North Canada (NNC) is a Government of Canada program that helps make nutritious, perishable foods more affordable in remote Northern communities. As a participating partner, Arctic Co-ops helps ensure that residents have year-round access to healthy food options.

Through the subsidy, eligible Northern retailers, including local Co-ops, reduce the cost of fresh and perishable foods.
This support strengthens food security in communities where supply challenges and transportation costs significantly affect prices.

Arctic Co-ops works through its network of Member Co-ops to deliver nutritious foods efficiently and reliably, contributing to healthier diets and stronger Northern communities.
