National Co-op Movement
In Canada, Co-ops and credit unions are supported by the Canadian Co-operative Association
Co-ops studies take place at universities throughout Canada. The Centre for the Study of Co-operatives is located at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
The Coady Institute is located in Nova Scotia, and it is a faculty of St. Francis Xavier University.

Co-ops are at work throughout the world, making life better for members. The United States organization is called the National Co-operative Organization.
Credit unions have their own international organization, called the World Council of Credit Unions Inc.
